2014 Trip on 395, from northern Nevada to southern California. It was a cold and breezy day! Perfect day for capturing the beautiful Eastern Sierra Mountain Range and the surrounding ranches, abandoned and occupied. The cloud cover made for lots of color and deep textures.
About Carla E
Carla, native Texan, loves the western way of life, no matter where she hangs her hat in her travels. Her grandfather sparked her love for ranching and being horse back early on. She owned her first pony before the age of five, and soon after, fell in love with Roy Rogers, Dale Evans and Gabby Hayes on the silver screen. Her college education has confirmed her love for learning; horsemanship, colt training, animal science, civil engineering, architecture and photography, and she loves painting in Watercolor and her life long passion of graphite drawings.
